I offer personalized, in-home screenwriting coaching for kids and teens, ages 8 to 18. Whether your child is just discovering their creative voice or already writing scripts, these fun and engaging sessions help them grow as writers and performers, while having a blast!

What to Expect in a Session

Each 1-hour session is tailored to your child (or small group of 2 kids) and meets them where they are, creatively, emotionally, and developmentally.

We start every session with a warm up of theater games and improv, unlocking imagination and spontaneity. From there, we begin crafting stories organically by following your child’s curiosity and creative instincts.

As the story evolves, I gently introduce screenwriting principles based on Joseph Campbell’s A Hero’s Journey:

• Structure (3 act structure - beginning, middle, end)

• Character development

• Dialogue

• Visual storytelling

It’s not a lecture. It’s not a class. It’s a collaborative, playful experience that grows into something real: a script your child created themselves.

This is the perfect setting for creative collaboration!
Sessions for two allow young writers to bounce ideas off each other, take turns building scenes, and learn the art of co-writing Or learn from each other as we develop their stories side by side, all while having fun and building confidence together.

Sessions take place in the comfort of your home. No driving, no drop-offs. Just safe, focused, creative time, right where your child feels most comfortable.
