August 2026 Monday Improv Class:

This class empowers kids to use the creativity they already have inside them. We use acting techniques to support the child, rather than mold the child into an actor.
It’s a safe space for kids to have fun and explore their imagination. Multiple ages come together to play theater games, improv and write skits.
A Typical Class Includes:
Opening Circle
Warm up
Grounding (meditation)
Skill building games
Performance
Reflection
Closing Circle
Kids collaborate to write their own skits

Kids develop their social skills, quick thinking skills, self calming skills, storytelling skills and so much more!

Improv and theatre games encourage students to find their voice, build their confidence and experience the joy of storytelling. As they learn to listen and support one another, students grow socially and emotionally. They experience teamwork, discovering the magic of creating something together while having a blast!
Final Showcase
At the end of the session, students share their work in a short performance for friends and family.

“Cathryn’s improv class has been so enriching for our Clementine (11). In it, she has learned to say more “Yes, and...,” which is vital for collaboration and creativity.
