This class empowers kids to use the creativity they already have inside them. We use acting techniques to support the child, rather than mold the child into an actor.
It’s a safe space for kids to have fun and explore their imagination. Multiple ages come together to play theater games, improv and write skits.
A Typical Class Includes:
Opening Circle
Warm up
Grounding (meditation)
Skill building games
Performance
Reflection
Closing Circle
Kids collaborate to write their own skits
“Living Painting”
Kids develop their social skills, quick thinking skills, self calming skills, storytelling skills and so much more!
“Moonie loves the class so much! He looks forward to it each week and is so happy and excited after every class! It seems like such a warm, welcoming and safe environment. He seems to feel so comfortable in the class, we’re so thrilled that it exists! ”
This class is for kids to gain confidence, make friends and have fun!
Classes taught by Cathryn de Prume
I teach to help children discover who they are and feel brave being themselves.
Through improvisation and theatre games, kids find their voice, build confidence, and experience the joy of true connection. They learn to listen, support one another, and trust their own ideas in a space that feels safe, playful, and encouraging.
Students grow socially and emotionally while strengthening creativity, focus, and communication. They explore storytelling, character, and teamwork, discovering the magic of creating something together.
Final Showcase
At the end of the session, students share their work in a short performance for friends and family.

“Cathryn’s improv class has been so enriching for our Clementine (11). In it, she has learned to say more “Yes, and...,” which is vital for collaboration and creativity. The class has helped open her mind to others’ ideas. She says the activities are really fun and have helped her become a better actor. We love seeing her perform with the other kids at the end of a session. They are all so committed to it, and they’re hilarious! It’s pretty amazing.”
“I love this class. It makes me happy. ”
